Agen MaxbeT  -   Manchester United's Daley Blind has revealed he feels most comfortable playing as a centre-back.

The Dutchman began his career as a left-back at Ajax while he has been used as both a central midfielder and centre-back for United and Holland under Louis van Gaal.

But Blind, whose father was a legendary defender for Sparta Rotterdam and Ajax - feels he has now found his favourite position.

Bandar Judi Online MaxbeT  -   "Of course, now I feel most comfortable in the centre-back position," Blind told De Telegraaf

"There I play every week at Manchester United and I feel good. [But] I’m available anywhere.

"It’s not too difficult to plat at left-back again, or as a central defender or a midfielder. I know I can be an important link for the team.

"That’s what I’ve shown in lots of games. I can be of value in any position."

Philippe Coutinho keen on Barcelona switch due to friendship with Neymar, claim Catalan press

Kampusbet  -    Philippe Coutinho keen on Barcelona switch due to friendship with Neymar, claim Catalan press

Agen SbobeT  -   Philippe Coutinho continues to be tipped for a January move to Barcelona in the Spanish press – and his relationship with Neymar could be the key to any possible deal.

The Liverpool playmaker, 23, has reportedly caught the eye of Luis Enrique with his impressive displays at Anfield over the last two seasons.

Catalan paper Sport yesterday claimed that Coutinho is Barça's primary target for January, when the club's ban on registering new players ends. A £30million approach has been mooted.

The European champions are currently without the injured Lionel Messi and are unable to call on Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal until the new year due to the ban.

With Andres Iniesta turning 32 in May, Barcelona are believed to be in the market for another creative midfielder and have identified Coutinho as a player capable of thriving in their system.

Sport today ran with the headline 'Coutinho opts for Barça', claiming that the Brazilian is keen on a switch to the Camp Nou.

Bandar Judi Online SbobeT  -   "Coutinho's new agents have a good relationship with the club," writes Luis Miguel Sanz.

They were close to getting a deal done a couple of summers ago. David Luiz, who has the same representative, admitted a few days ago that Coutinho was being tracked by Barça and that it was a good option for his career.

"Coutinho knows Barcelona – he played for six months at Espanyol – and is a close friend of Neymar. Their relationship means that Coutinho would strongly favour Barcelona were he to leave Liverpool."

Neymar has made no secret of his desire to play with Coutinho at club level.

The two played together at youth level for Brazil and are now team-mates in Dunga's senior side – although Coutinho has been forced to pull out of the latest squad through injury.

Asked last month which Brazilian he would like to see at the Camp Nou, Neymar was in no doubt: "Coutinho. He's a great player and it would be great to have him here."

Arsene Wenger slams "very boring pundits" after criticism following Arsenal's defeat to Olympiacos

Kampusbet  -     Arsene Wenger slams "very boring pundits" after criticism following Arsenal's defeat to Olympiacos

Agen TangKasneT  -    Furious Arsene Wenger turned his anger on the "very boring pundits" who send most viewers to sleep.

Wenger insists he will never chnge his attacking philosophy which, by his own admission, either makes him look "absolutely marvellous" or "naive."

Gunners boss Wenger has come under heavy fire after the Champions League defeat to Olympiacos left ex-Manchester United captain Roy Keane calling Arsenal "soft and mentally weak."

That comes on top of repeated criticism from Sky pundit Gary Neville but Wenger made no apology for trying to win with style and claims playing unattractive football just to get results is a turn-off.
"If you play offensive football and you lose everybody kills you," said Wenger.

But if you sit for ten games with a team which refuses to play then you will fall asleep and everybody says: 'why don't you attack?'

"When you don't win the games, you are wrong, not only for the reasons that people analyse. You have to accept that.

"But when Barcelona win the European Cup and attack from everywhere, we say: 'Oh, what a fantastic game, it's absolutely marvellous.'

"If you attack and you lose the game then everybody says: 'you're naive.' And it is true."

I think the way the teams are structured and is the way the Premier League is structured, you want to see people attack. It's part of the success of the Premier League.

"I think you lack a bit of creativity in the press at the moment and you follow a bandwagon. It's very, very, very, very boring. I don't go along with that. Honestly, not one came out and analysed well the game.

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  -   "One pundit says something on TV and all behind that repeat the same thing. It is quite boring.

Nobody came out with numbers where the game was won or lost. It's quite depressing to read that and hear that."

Wenger's whole philosophy has always been about free flowing attractive football while his opposite number on Sunday, Louis Van Gaal, is more about possession, statistics and results.

They have both got title ambitions this season but neither set of fans are happy. Arsenal supporters are lamenting a possible early Champions League exit while many United followers complain about Van Gaal's style of football.

It is a no-win situation for either manager but Wenger has got respect for Van Gaal largely because he has survived for so long in the game.

Wenger also expressed surprise at the "massive money" United paid for £35m striker Anthony Martial.

Wenger added: "We know each other but we have no special relations. But we are for 30 years in football at the top level, so we both know how much you have to suffer to get there, you know. It's like old warriors.

"I was surprised that Monaco sold him (Martial), and the amount of money was massive. But I believe that you could think if you're Monaco, they could have sold him as well next season."

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge to sit out Europa League clash against Sion

Kampusbet  -    Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge to sit out Europa League clash against Sion

Agen Sbo Casin0 -    Brendan Rodgers has vowed not to “break” England striker Daniel Sturridge.

And he will warn Roy Hodgson to do the same if, as expected, the 26-year-old is called up by England when the squad for the final two Euro qualifiers is named on Thursday.

England host Estonia at Wembley, but Liverpool are concerned that the second match against Lithuania will be played on an artificial pitch in Vilnius.

Sturridge scored twice for Liverpool at the weekend, but will be rested for Thursday's Europa League clash with Swiss side Sion at Anfield.

The thinking is that he will then be “fresh” and available for the Merseyside derby against Everton on Sunday after adding class to Liverpool's front line against Villa last weekend with a cool finish to get back on the goals trail.

He is still not 100 per cent fit and Liverpool boss Rodgers said: “We have to make sure we don't break him at this stage. He gives us real quality in the final stage.

“For every individual player, you assess them physically. He has worked hard and has come back ahead of schedule.

“He won't be involved in this game (Sion) which will keep him fresh for the weekend and working towards his fitness.”

Asked if he would be wary for England picking Sturridge so soon after his return from a year out, Rodgers said: “I have not spoken (with the FA) as of yet.

“If our players are being selected... Daniel is back in the fold, if he is fit and performing I would expect him to be chosen for the national team. My concern now is that he is fit and ready for Liverpool.”

But Rodgers says he couldn't play in both England games. He added: “Not at the moment. I let the players deal with it when they go away.

“It is worth me noting to the FA where he is in his return to fitness. He is a player coming back and Roy and his staff are intelligent enough to realise that.”

Bandar Judi Online Sbo Casin0 -   Sturridge missed four months between September and February last season and was injured again in April until his return against Norwich 11 days ago after hip surgery.

Rodgers is confident his side is returning to better form, especially creatively after scoring three against Villa.

Rodgers added: “The (Ings/Sturridge) combination was very good, the team, and how cohesive we were, in particular those two up front, was very good.

We scored three and could have got more. Ings has been great for his intensity and pressure. From 25 yards out on goal he can score.

“If we can keep Daniel working towards a good level of fitness those two will be good for us.”

Liverpool want to avoid the poor results hitting the campaigns for Arsenal and Chelsea in the Champions League.

Rodgers suggests the intensity of the Premier League is making it difficult for English teams to thrive in Europe.

He added: “The competition in the Premier League is like no other. Big teams abroad can win games at 70pc and go into a European game fresh.

“You can't do that in the Premier League. There are no easy games. The intensity and physicality is much greater for English teams.”

Rodgers says the English football authorities could help.

He added: “They could do more to support teams in Europe. It happens in other countries. It doesn't happen in this country.

“The physicality, the intensity of the way it is played.... in other countries they can change 5-6-7 players, still win the game and put a team out for the next game.

“It all adds up to physically being difficult for the Premier League teams but it is something we have to cope with.

“You respect the challenge and try to get the best out of the players you have available.”
