Tottenham transfers: Erik Lamela up for grabs - with FOUR more flops from £100m spree

Judi Online -  Erik Lamela is the fifth player signed in Tottenham’s £100million spree two years ago heading for the exit door.

The north Londoners DO want to offload the 23-year-old this summer and are in talks with at least one Italian club, understood to be Juventus, over a deal.

Mirror Sport revealed last week that the club had opened talks with Galatasaray over a move for £26million ex-Valencia striker Roberto Soldado.

Lamela, Tottenham’s record signing at £30million, failed to settle in his first season and showed only flashes of the form that led Spurs to land him from Roma.

The Argentine has insisted he wants to stay at White Hart Lane to fulfil his potential but Spurs are willing to part company with him if a deal can be done.

Of players bought in the summer that Gareth Bale quit the club for Real Madrid, only Christian Eriksen and Nacer Chadli have a future.

Bandar Bola -  Watford want to take midfielder Etienne Capoue, who cost Tottenham £8.6million from Toulouse.
Swiss side Basel are hoping to take defender Vlad Chiriches, who has flopped since arriving from Steaua Bucharest.

And Brazilian midfielder Paulinho, a £17million signing from Corinthians, is heading to Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande with a £10million fee agreed.

Spurs are determined to cut their losses on their dead wood with boss Mauricio Pochettino keen to clear the decks to bring in his own players.

Watford are also keen on French midfielder Benjamin Stambouli, who arrived in north London just a year ago.

Younes Kaboul, Emmanuel Adebayor and Aaron Lennon are also out of Pochettino’s plans and set to depart.

Tottenham to reignite Kevin Mirallas interest and launch £7m bid for Everton winger

Judi Online -  Tottenham are ready to reignite their interest in Kevin Mirallas with a bid of around £7million for the Everton wideman.

Spurs attempted a swap deal involving Aaron Lennon in the January transfer window and while the Goodison club hope to sign Lennon permanently after a successful loan spell, Spurs are expected to make a straight cash bid for the 27-year-old Mirallas.

The Belgian has only one year left on his Everton contract and is said to prefer a move to London, rather than a switch to Greek side Olympiakos who are also keen.

Bandar Bola -  Spurs believe Everton may be willing to sell after completing the signing of winger Gerard Deulofeu from Barcelona this week.

Former England winger Lennon, 28, is keen on a move to Merseyside and Everton could try to revive a swap when Spurs come calling - although Lennon may have to sit tight until the end of the window to discover whether chairman Daniel Levy will sell him.

Tottenham brace for £15m transfer hit on Roberto Soldado — but Galatasaray want BETTER deal

Judi Online -  Tottenham are ready to take a £15million hit on Roberto Soldado after opening talks with Galatasaray about the sale of the striker.

We revealed last week that Turkish champions Galatasaray had targeted the 30-year-old, who has had a nightmare two years since a £26million move from Valencia to the north Londoners.

Spurs are understood to be prepared to accept around £11m for Spain international Soldado, as they are keen on Monaco's rising star Anthony Martial and teenage Stuttgart forward Timo Werner.

They are also keeping tabs on £12m-rated Lyon hitman Clinton N’Jie.

But the Istanbul club believe they could get Soldado for even less than that - around £9m - with Tottenham desperate to get him off their books.

Galatasaray can use the lure of Champions League football to tempt Soldado away from London.

Bandar Bola -  Spurs have been open to offers for Soldado for some time, with the player drained of confidence and having been surpassed over the past season by Young Player of the Year winner Harry Kane.

Soldado scored just five goals in all competitions last season, and managed only 11 the year before.

* FORMER Spurs boss Harry Redknapp reckons Kane could still end up at Manchester United despite insisting he’s happy at White Hart Lane.

United have been linked with a £40m bid for the striker and Redknapp said: “If United put in a £45m bid, I reckon if chairman Daniel Levy thinks Kane isn’t worth that amount of money, I can see him doing the deal.”

Liverpool transfers: 'Caged lion' Fabio Borini wants to quit Anfield, confirms agent

Judi Online -  Liverpool forward Fabio Borini wants to quit the club this summer, his agent has confirmed.

The Italian was widely expected to leave Anfield a year ago but opted to stay on Merseyside and fight for his future.

Just 12 appearances followed last season and Borini's agent Marco De Marchi says the time has come for him to depart.

"Fabio wants a new experience. There are teams from all over Europe interested in him," he told Corriere dello Sport.

"Top clubs in Europe are keen on him, from the Premier League to the Bundesliga and there also clubs in Italy, but many clubs in Italy have had coaching changes and that has slowed things down.

"He has no preference, he just wants a team that gives him a clear chance to prove himself.

Bandar Bola -  Right now he feels like a lion in a cage."

Borini looked set to join Sunderland a year ago after the two clubs agreed a £12million fee following a successful loan spell.

De Marchi expects that price tag to have dropped though following a year of kicking his heels on the sidelines.

"His current value is that given by Sunderland last year," De Marchi said.

"However, that figure could be affected by the season he's had at Liverpool and the fact that in a year his contract runs out.

"For the time being, everything is on standby as the player is currently on his honeymoon but will return shortly."

Liverpool eyeing at least FIVE more summer signings as Brendan Rodgers continues Anfield overhaul

Judi Online -  Undaunted by the pursuit of one of their brightest stars by Manchester City, Liverpool have turned their sights to squad strengthening for next season.

The Reds have dismissed the latest Etihad offer for Raheem Sterling, and instead are intent on ensuring boss Brendan Rodgers replaces the minimum of eight players they expect to leave Anfield this summer.

Rodgers has already persuaded free transfer signings James Milner, Danny Ings and Adam Bogdan to join, and he will add a fourth signing before the end of the week as hugely promising England U19 defender Joe Gomez travels to Merseyside for a medical tomorrow.

The Charlton defender, who can play right back or centre half, has chosen the Reds ahead of Arsenal, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund, after Liverpool invoked a clause in his contract which allows him to leave for a figure of around £3.5m, which could rise to beyond £5m.

Rodgers is also confident of landing Southampton right back Nathaniel Clyne, after the Saints paved the way for a second Anfield bid for the England defender, by agreeing to sign a replacement in Portugal international right back Cedric Soares; from Sporting Lisbon for £3.5m.

Bandar Bola -  Liverpool have already had an offer of around £7m rejected, but they will submit another bid in excess of £11m in the next few days, and could complete a deal next week.

The Merseyside club will also strengthen their squad significantly by ensuring another of their stars is tied up on a long term deal... even if it isn't Sterling.

There were fears key defender Martin Skrtel would leave this summer after rejecting a new contract offer and dismissing it as “unacceptable”.

But his agent confirmed today he is close to putting pen to paper on a new agreement that will keep him at the club for the next three years, when he said the Slovakia international had rejected Inter Milan to stay at Anfield.

“I confess that there were not mere rumours, the interest from Inter was real,” the agent, Karol Csonto said.“The deal did not go ahead, but there was contact made.

“The player had been thinking about his future and eventually opted to remain at Liverpool." Skrtel is expected to confirm the new contract before next week.

Liverpool meanwhile, have put the ball firmly back in Manchester City's court over Sterling, by telling them the apparently “final” offer of £40m is no where near their valuation.

Petr Cech wants Arsenal transfer this summer - according to Chelsea's goalkeeping coach

Judi Online -  Petr Cech's goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon believes the Chelsea star wants to go to Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger is understood to be confident of a deal to take the 33-year-old Blues veteran from Stamford Bridge to the Emirates this week.

Lollichon, who has worked with Cech for ten years, believes the Gunners have the ambition to match that of the Champions' no.2.

He said: "I think [Cech] still has three or four excellent seasons in him.

“His family like England. And a player is happy when his family is happy.

“He wants to stay in England, but I don't know where are the discussions. The Premier League is his primary objective. But it will also depends on the conditions .

”The advantage is that Arsenal is a top club, with a philosophy that pleases him and that is at London. It is a base for consideration."

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insisted last week he would block a move to north London for Cech.

Bandar Bola -  He also admitted, however, that the final decision lay with club owner Roman Abramovich after Cech asked for his years of service for the club to be taken into consideration.

Current Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris has admitted he is considering his future at White Hart Lane this summer as he wants to play in the Champions League.

Manchester United are said to be keen on Lloris with David De Gea expected to quit for Real Madrid.

Lollichon said: “I think that Manchester United like Lloris.”

PSG are also interested in Cech, who was displaced in south west London last season by Thibaut Courtois.

But asked about a move for Cech to either France or to Manchester United or even Tottenham, Lollichon replied: “Tottenham?

“I do not think they have the same ambitions as Arsenal. Petr wants to break a record of the clean sheets in the Premier League.

"At 33, he still has at least three or four excellent seasons at the high level. Much is said about him at PSG, but the problem is that when you have evolved in England, Ligue 1 seems light compared to what Petr has experienced."

Manchester United to launch £40million Harry Kane bid after losing out on top target Gareth Bale

Judi Online -  Manchester United are ready to test Tottenham's resolve to keep Harry Kane with a £40million bid for the striker.

United have made Spurs and England star Kane their top summer transfer target after Real Madrid declared Gareth Bale is staying at the Bernabeu.

Kane has been on United boss Louis van Gaal's wanted list following his 31-goal heroics last season, but now the Reds are ready to make official their interest in the form of a bid.

United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward knows the club need to land a marquee signing this summer and rising star Kane, 21, has emerged as that player.

But United face a battle to land Kane, with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy renowned for his tough negotiating skills and refusal to budge from his valuation of players.

Although Spurs say they have no desire to sell Kane, who signed a new five-year deal in February, United believe a bid in the region of £40m could put pressure on that stance.

Bandar Bola -  Kane himself has expressed no wish to leave White Hart Lane, but could have his head turned with an approach from United, who can offer him the chance to play in the Champions League.

But United may have to go as high as £50m to land Kane, with Levy certain to hold out for the best possible price for Tottenham's prized asset, if they eventually decide to let him go.

United's move for Kane would appear to signal the end of Robin van Persie's time at Old Trafford after three years, with the Reds willing to listen to offers for the Dutch striker.

Van Persie admitted in a recent interview United are planning to spend up to £200m this summer, to build a team capable of challenging for the Premier League title.

But Van Persie is unlikely to be part of that title-chasing squad, with Juventus and Fenerbahce among the clubs interested in taking the 31-year-old forward.

With United having also decided against a permanent move for Radamel Falcao, who spent last season on loan from Monaco, the Reds are looking to add two new front men this summer.

Another forward target for United is Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, who could be included as part of the deal that sees goalkeeper David De Gea go the other way.

Christian Benteke transfer: Aston Villa to offer Liverpool target new deal

Judi Online -  Aston Villa will offer Christian Benteke a new deal this summer amid interest from Liverpool.

The Belgian's future is the source of much discussion this summer with the Merseysiders keen, along with Chelsea and Manchester United.

Benteke is understood to have a £32.5million buyout clause and has admitted he wants to play for a European outfit before too long.

However, Villa chief executive Tom Fox says the club will do their best to keep Benteke - but cannot stand in his way if he wants to quit.

"If Christian wanted to leave, would we stand in his way? It's very difficult to make a blanket statement about a player wanting to leave," said Fox.

"There has been a lot of speculation and I'm not going to contribute to it or play any of our transfer strategy out in the press.

Bandar Bola -  But we will offer Christian Benteke a new deal this summer, of course we will."

Fox hopes Benteke will follow the lead of midfielder Fabian Delph, who committed to a new long-term deal in January.

"Every player has individual aspirations and the relationship they have with the club is different," said Fox, who was speaking at the Sport Industry Breakfast Club networking event.

"Look at what happened with the re-signing of Fabian Delph, no-one would have thought that was possible or even something he should have done and yet he did it.

"It's about the individual and the relationship he has with the club."

Liverpool need to sign a top-class striker, warns Anfield hero Danny Murphy

Judi Online -  Liverpool need to sign a big-name striker if they are to break back into the top four next season, warns Danny Murphy.

The Reds have agreed a deal for former Burnley frontman Danny Ings after his contract with the Clarets expired.

However, Ings only scored 11 Premier League goals last season and Murphy reckons his old club still need to boost their firepower.

He told talkSPORT: “Danny Ings is talented and he can score goals. It’s tough to judge him on this season because he’s been playing for Burnley. He’s a talent, but he is unproven at the top level.

"He’s a great prospect and he’s English, so that’s good news for Liverpool.

Bandar Bola -  At this stage though, to get back into the top four, do they need a proven out and out striker? A bigger, more established, name?

"Or are they going to rely on Daniel Sturridge being fit? Because I’m not sure they can.”

Meanwhile, Murphy has warned the Anfield new-boy he will have to bide his time before commanding a regular starting spot.

He told Kicca: "I think Ings will take the role of [Fabio] Borini in the squad & will provide more than he has, that will probably come in the Europa league & Capital one cup to start with then it will be up to him to show if he deserves to start more."

Manchester United warned transfer of Felipe Anderson from Lazio could slip through their fingers

Judi Online -  Manchester United have been told they’ll have to move fast if they want to land Lazio’s highly-prized attacking midfield star Felipe Anderson, writes Steve Bates in the Sunday People.

Louis van Gaal has been impressed by Anderson’s growing influence on the Italian club who, like United, managed to squeeze into the Champions League qualifiers in August.

The United boss believes the exciting 22-year-old Brazilian could be the perfect addition to his squad as he seeks a midfielder who can dictate play and tempo with Michael Carrick - recently given a one-year deal - nearing the end of his days at Old Trafford.

But United have big competition for Anderson, with Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea all declaring an interest in taking the £30million-rated South American star.

An ace card for United could be Lazio's interest in Old Trafford striker Robin van Persie, who is uncertain of his future.

Bandar Bola -  The Italians are believed to have made a tentative inquiry for the Dutchman, who is open-minded about a move to Serie A.

Van Persie, who turns 32 in August, would like to stay at Old Trafford but still wants to be considered a first-choice regular and doesn’t want to spend time on the bench.

But after a season disrupted by injury and erratic form, he can no longer be guaranteed a starting role by van Gaal and that’s put his future in Manchester in doubt.

Van Persie has a year left on his contract, and so far United haven’t made moves to offer an extension after reliability issues last season.

Arsenal's Olivier Giroud admits being hurt by Thierry Henry's ''brutal'' criticism

Kampusbet -  Arsenal's Olivier Giroud admits being hurt by Thierry Henry's ''brutal'' criticism

Judi Online -  Olivier Giroud has admitted to being "annoyed" at Thierry Henry's "brutal" criticism of him earlier this season.

Henry claimed Arsenal, who finished third in the league, need "a top, top-quality striker in order to win the league again".

Giroud, who scored 19 goals despite a broken leg that cost him three months in the first half of the season, said: "It is part of the game. I will never win unanimous support.

Speaking ahead of France's game against Belgium on Sunday, now double-FA Cup winner Giroud added: "Apparently Titi (Henry) corrected himself recently.

"He said that he was thinking about competition, that he wanted Arsenal to have many strikers who can score goals.

Bandar Bola -  "He was a little brutal at the time, so it caused a fuss, but that is what he's asked to do as a pundit and I didn't lose any sleep over it.

"Of course, it hurts your pride - it brings into question the work you do every day.

It irritates you, and I was a little annoyed, but I quickly put it behind me.

I talked to the coach (Wenger) and the most important thing is to have the support of the people around you, who have faith in you, the staff, my team-mates.

"We can only answer on the pitch and that is also why the FA Cup was important."

Arsenal's Theo Walcott will seek assurances over playing up front in talks over a new contract

Judi Online -  FA Cup Final hero Theo Walcott will discuss where he is to be used and how often as part of his contract talks with Arsenal.

Advisors for Walcott, who has just a year left on his £90,000-a-week deal, will finally sit down with the Gunners this week to talk about a new long-term agreement.

As well as seeking more game time, however, the 26-year-old England forward is keen to find a balance between playing out wide and up front with recent displays strengthening his case.

It is an issue that also surfaced during Walcott’s last contract negotiations.

He is set to make it clear in this week’s discussions that he is NOT pushing to play as the main striker in every game.

The former Southampton starlet accepts he is better suited in wider areas, while Arsenal’s first-choice frontman, Olivier Giroud, has scored 19 goals in all competitions this season.

Walcott does, however, feel that, in a certain number of games, he has the ability to be a threat down the middle and believes a balance can be struck.

His claims have been helped by his sparkling hat-trick against West Brom - a game in which he played as the main striker - on the final day of the Premier League season.

Bandar Bola -  That performance saw him force his way into the FA Cup Final starting line-up where he justified his inclusion with the stunning first goal in Arsenal’s 4-0 demolition of Aston Villa at Wembley on Saturday.

After the win over West Brom, Baggies boss Tony Pulis said: “Walcott up front? I think Walcott is outstanding as a front player. His movement is absolutely first class.

“You know he is going to score goals. I don’t care what anybody says, with the quality that Arsenal have got you could play with him or Olivier Giroud up front and still be very, very potent.”

Both Arsenal and Walcott’s advisors remain relaxed over his contract situation and confident that a deal can be reached.

Before that start against West Brom, however, Walcott had been used sparingly by boss Arsene Wenger over several months this season following his recovery from a January 2014 knee injury.

The winger has also been linked repeatedly with a swap deal for Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling.

Wenger insisted again at the weekend that Walcott will remain at Arsenal. But Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea are all monitoring the situation.
