Judi Online - Aston Villa will offer Christian Benteke a new deal this summer amid interest from Liverpool.
The
Belgian's future is the source of much discussion this summer with the
Merseysiders keen, along with Chelsea and Manchester United.
Benteke is understood to have a £32.5million buyout clause and has admitted he wants to play for a European outfit before too long.
However, Villa chief executive Tom Fox says the club will do their best to keep Benteke - but cannot stand in his way if he wants to quit.
"If
Christian wanted to leave, would we stand in his way? It's very
difficult to make a blanket statement about a player wanting to leave,"
said Fox.
"There has been a lot of speculation and I'm not going to contribute
to it or play any of our transfer strategy out in the press.
Bandar Bola - But we will offer Christian Benteke a new deal this summer, of course we will."
Fox hopes Benteke will follow the lead of midfielder Fabian Delph, who committed to a new long-term deal in January.
"Every player has individual aspirations and the relationship they
have with the club is different," said Fox, who was speaking at the
Sport Industry Breakfast Club networking event.
"Look at what
happened with the re-signing of Fabian Delph, no-one would have thought
that was possible or even something he should have done and yet he did
it.
"It's about the individual and the relationship he has with the club."
