Louis van Gaal defends Manchester United press conference walk out: "I wasn't angry"

Kampusbet  ~   " Louis van Gaal defends Manchester United press conference walk out: "I wasn't angry" "

http://indowins.com

Agen TangKasneT  ~   Louis van Gaal has defended his infamous walk-out of the pre-Christmas press conference insisting it wasn't an angry strop.

The Manchester United manager had been stung by media coverage following the defeat against Norwich City that focused on the potential for sacked Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to be given his job.

In the premeditated speech he demanded an apology from his so-called detractors and then launched into an attack on the press, report the Manchester Evening News.

“I think I was already sacked, I read. I have been sacked. My colleague (Jose Mourinho) was here already. What do you think happens with my wife or with my kids? Or with my grandchildren?

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  ~   Or with the fans of Manchester United? Or my friends? What do you think?” he said before wrapping up the conference after four minutes and 58 seconds and telling the assembled media to enjoy the wine and mince pies courtesy of the club.

Van Gaal then got up and walked out.

But it was seen by many as a storm off and that Van Gaal was angry. However, the Red Devils manager says it was anything but.

I read things in the press. These are lies, not based on facts. That's the reasons that I walk away in a press conference and not with a stormy head or an angry head,” he says.

“No, I walk with a quietness because I want to make my point. But you (the press) write it in another context.”

Tottenham ARE title contenders after Son Heung-min's late show snatches win at Watford

Kampusbet  ~   " Tottenham ARE title contenders after Son Heung-min's late show snatches win at Watford "

http://indowins.com

Agen Klik4D  ~   Forget the top four. The title challenge that so many believed was beyond Tottenham is very much a reality.

This was a contest billed beforehand as a surprise Champions League six-pointer.

For Mauricio Pochettino’s men, who have quietly stalked the leaders for some time now, it finished as a dramatic three points to put them firmly in the race for top spot.

The naysayers will suggest we have been here before on far too many occasions with Spurs to get carried away.

And Pochettino was keen to keep a lid on expectation despite his men being on the shoulders of Leicester and Arsenal by the final whistle.

It is a long time, however, since they have had a side – a squad, actually – like this one: packed with character, cutting edge and defensive stability.

They may not have the star names boasted by Arsenal and Manchester City.

What they do have is an appetite for work that has given them a great chance this season.

Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores gushed afterwards about the “conditions” that he believes Tottenham have to follow through with a title challenge.

Now it is in the hands of the north Londoners.

South Korean forward Son Heung-min struck in the 89th minute, flicking the ball through the legs of ex-Spurs keeper Heurelho Gomes after Kieran Trippier’s cross, to take all three points back down the M1.

Just moments before, Ben Watson’s corner had almost crept in for the Hornets.

Goalline technology showed the ball was only inches away from going in.

Erik Lamela had opened the scoring for the visitors in the 17th minute, racing clear after Dele Alli had capitalised on a Craig Cathcart mistake to feed him.

Bandar Judi Online Klik4D  ~   Gomes appeared to give Lamela an awful lot of the Watford goal to aim at. The Argentine accepted the invitation, using defender Miguel Britos to disguise his intentions before stroking the ball into the bottom corner.

Even when Odion Ighalo grabbed an impressive equaliser shortly before the break, Pochettino’s men – helped by the second-half dismissal of Nathan Ake – continued pushing.

Ighalo’s goal was indeed a peach. Pochettino had shown Watford the respect of changing his formation to deal with the Hornets’ free-scoring attack.

Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen were joined by Eric Dier who slipped back from midfield to centre-half. For much of the first period it paid off.

Then Ighalo pounced, bulldozing his way past Dier before poking the ball beyond keeper Hugo Lloris.

The effort took his tally to 14 for the season and 30 in 2015.

As the tension mounted in this fiercely-contested affair, tempers boiled over and players lost their heads.

The Watford fans howled their frustration at referee Anthony Taylor over Ake’s sending off.

But the left-back, on loan from Chelsea, went in high and dangerously on Lamela. He can have no complaints.

It was a shame because the hosts acquitted themselves well yet again here, refusing to be overawed and showing the kind of quality that helped them to four wins from their previous five.

But Tottenham deserved their victory and are in the title hunt by right.

With the transfer window opening this week they have the chance to bring in the quality to give themselves more depth and even greater belief.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp issues warning to Christian Benteke and Daniel Sturridge

Agen MaxbeT  ~    Liverpool's big-money strikers have been put firmly in their place by boss Jurgen Klopp.

Christian Benteke came off the bench to score the only goal against Leicester on Saturday but was then told he needs to do more for the team.

Klopp also trained his guns on injury-jinxed Daniel Sturridge, telling him: You’ll stay on the sidelines until I decide otherwise.

The German wants £32.5million man Benteke to contribute far more to his team’s high-intensity ‘gegen-press’ tactics before he is guaranteed a starting position.

He said: “We need his goals and he is a goal scorer no doubt, but I don’t only think about him and goals. We are not a team who can play with a striker who scores a goal but is not involved in the game for the other 89 minutes.

“We need the striker for the other options too, to work for the other minutes.”

Sturridge, rated in the £20m bracket, broke down on his return from injury earlier this month but, in a Christmas message to his fans, insisted he is now ready to play again.

However Klopp was having none of it and said: “I think this is absolutely the same thing that Daniel said four weeks ago, and we let him play and he was injured again.

He says this, you ask him and he says he’s good. I know he is good, but he has to train. We can not change the situation, he has to train now.

“With him, these are most intensive weeks in training for Daniel Sturridge in the last three years. So now you can see what we have to do. We can not say, come on Daniel now you look good so you can play.

Bndar Judi Online MaxbeT  ~   “I don’t want to see him in training. Because everybody sees him training and they think ‘oh, come on, bring him into the team, we need his quality’.

But no. We really, really have to be patient now, we have to wait, we have to train, we have to give the body the right information, and if he can do this, then maybe we can change something.”

Liverpool had 24 shots on goal against the league leaders, but only four on target, which suggests they are crying out for their two most natural goalscorers to start regularly.

Klopp said: “Christian came in, got a goal, it’s good for him, good for us, a better situation than before.

“He can do this I know, what I said, we had a really good talk in the week, he knows what he has to do, he came in had a really good game, decided the game. And well done!”

Benteke himself admits that he has struggled to adapt to the new manager’s demands, and he assured Klopp that he will not be storming into the office to demand to be playing.

Instead, he is prepared to listen and learn. “I spoke with the manager a few days ago about where I can improve and what he is expecting from me. We had a good conversation - I wont complain. It is part of football,” he said.

“We had like a ‘man conversation’ and I think it is going to help me and help the team. I am not saying every player can play like Barcelona but I have been in England a long time so I can adapt. I think I have to run more and I have to be there for my team-mates.

“I am still a young player and I want to learn. Like any striker you need a few games, I wanted to start, of course, every player wants to play but it is the decision of the manager and I have to be ready.

“He is the right manager for me to help me in my development. When you are a little bit on the side you try and to understand what the manager needs and what he wants and we had a very good chat.”

Chelsea to face Manchester United without Diego Costa after striker picks up fifth booking of season

Kampusbet  ~   " Chelsea to face Manchester United without Diego Costa after striker picks up fifth booking of season "

http://indowins.com

Agen SbobeT  ~   Chelsea will face Manchester United without Diego Costa when they travel to Old Trafford on Monday.

The Spaniard picked up his fifth booking of the season in the Blues' draw against Watford at Stamford Bridge.

Costa needlessly brought down Hornets defender Craig Cathcart with just two minutes remaining in the capital, and will be ruled out of the trip to the Theatre of Dreams.

Bandar Judi Online SbobeT  ~   He had earlier scored twice in the game, while a late missed penalty from Oscar cost Guus Hiddink's side all three points.

The draw means Chelsea are just two points outside the relegation zone heading into the clash, with United three points outside the top four after their fourth defeat in a row in all competitions at the hands of Stoke at the Britannia Stadium.

It is a game full of intrigue, with Louis van Gaal under increasing pressure to keep his job with the Red Devils, and axed Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho being touted to replace him, should the Dutchman be relieved of his duties.

Chelsea could be forced to pay Jose Mourinho - even if he takes over at Manchester United

Kampusbet  ~   " Chelsea could be forced to pay Jose Mourinho - even if he takes over at Manchester United "

http://indowins.com

Agen TangKasneT  ~   Chelsea could be forced to shell out on Jose Mourinho's wages while he manages Manchester United - should he take the role.

Mourinho remains the favourite to take over from Louis van Gaal if the Dutchman loses his job before the end of the current season.

But Mourinho will likely be forced to take a pay cut in order to become United boss, leaving Chelsea to pick up the rest of his wages until the end of the season.

The Daily Telegraph report that under the terms of Mourinho's Stamford Bridge sacking, Chelsea will have to make up any shortfall in earnings until the end of the season, should Mourinho take a new job.

The Portuguese boss was handed a new contract worth £10million a year in August, but can only expect around £6m to take the job at United.

If Mourinho was to replace Van Gaal early in the new year, Chelsea could be forced to pay him around £1.5million as a result.

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  ~   Mourinho is also a reported target of Real Madrid as they continue to ponder over the future of Rafa Benitez, following two torrid months.

President Florentino Perez is believed to have already sounded out Mourinho for a potential Bernabeu return should he choose to axe Benitez.

New Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink expressed his sympathy for Mourinho and believes that he will bounce back into the game.

“If you look at his [Mourinho’s] record over the years, it’s an amazing record at various clubs,” he said.

“The titles he won, many titles. Lots of respect for that. But, nevertheless, things happen in football and people take the decision they’ve taken.”

Aleksandar Mitrovic must be Newcastle's bully-boy says manager Steve McClaren

Kampusbet  ~   " Aleksandar Mitrovic must be Newcastle's bully-boy says manager Steve McClaren "

http://indowins.com

Agen TangKasneT  ~   Aleksandar Mitrovic has been advised to become Newcastle's bully-boy.

The Serbian striker is finding his feet in the Premier League after joining from Anderlecht with three goals this campaign.

Mitrovic was signed in the summer for £12million, and Newcastle boss Steve McClaren reckons the targetman can start to terrify defenders like Everton's Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku, who also started his career at Anderlecht has 16 goals in 23 appearances this season and faces Newcastle on Boxing Day.

McClaren said: “Lukaku is very effective. He’s had to develop and now he’s looking like a real deal, the complete centre-forward.

Mitro is developing and is a few years behind. He has bullied defenders – he did that against Chelsea. That’s what we want from him.

“He needs to hold that emotion and control it, but we should never take the aggression out of his game.

“There are a lot of things he has to work on and get right. He’s got talent and all the ingredients, he just needs to pull it all together like Lukaku has.

“We’re hoping he can make an impact this season, the quicker the better. He’s been boosted by the goal he got at Spurs.

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  ~   We’re just hoping he has those spells where he is very effective. He needs to score more goals, yes, but he was bought as a development and someone with potential, and that’s how he’s playing at the moment.”

Newcastle need more goals and teenage striker Ivan Toney has been recalled from loan at Barnsley suggesting Papiss Cisse's groin strain is serious.

McClaren says he will persevere with Siem De Jong to get him back to the form and fitness when he used to “run the game” for Ajax.

McClaren said: “He was their best player, but they were obviously a different team and I think the year out (injured) hasn’t helped him.

“I think he’s coming back slowly. He’s had to wait a long time, and he’s been frustrated. At Ajax he played in a team that dominated the ball and dominated possession. He was the focal point of that, but here it’s a little different.

“We don’t really dominate possession – we’re more of a transition or counter-attack team. But I think his experience over the last couple of games has helped us. His fitness has improved, and his running stats prove that.

“I think he said before the game, ‘I need to score a goal’. Like all strikers – nine or ten – they want to score and they want assists.”

Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho insists Premier League title not out of reach for Reds

Kampusbet  ~   " Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho insists Premier League title not out of reach for Reds "

http://indowins.com

Agen Klik4D  ~   Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho has cut through the gloom that has descended on Anfield by insisting they can still enter the title race this season.

The Reds have been devastated by a dismal run of just one point from their last nine, which has sabotaged their rising hopes of joining the race for the Premier League top four.

But the Brazilian star believes the recent slump is just a blip as the team comes to terms with the demands of new boss Jurgen Klopp.

And the little midfielder – who will celebrate his third anniversary at Anfield next month – believes the time is right for him to lift his first trophy with the Reds.

“Now I hope to be able to help the team win trophies, it’s very important to keep battling,” he said ahead of leaders Leicester's visit on Boxing Day.

We’re in a very good position. It’s the goal of everyone involved, we’re all focused on fighting for the trophies and I think we have a great chance in the competitions we’re in this year.

“We’re going to fight for that and I hope we win a trophy this year.”

Coutinho arrived in the January window three years ago as a surprise signing from Inter Milan, and made an instant impact, to become a firm Anfield favourite.

And he is confident he has now got enough experience in English football, after coming to terms with the physicality of the game here, to take a leading role in guiding the Reds to a trophy.

“It’s been three wonderful years, and I’m very grateful to the club,” he said.

Bandar Judi Online Klik4D  ~   “We learn little by little. When you arrive here, the football is very different, the style of play, it’s more intense, you use your body more, it’s faster.

“These things I think I’ve improved on since I arrived, as I came from a different style of football, and I hope I can continue to improve.”

Klopp believes he can win a trophy with the current squad despite their recent slump, and is reluctant to make any major moves in the January window.

But with news today that defender Martin Skrtel will miss the busy Christmas period and well into the New Year with a serious hamstring problem, he has been forced to look at landing a centre half.

Reports in Germany suggest that Liverpool have made an approach to Schalke over their Cameroon international Joel Matip, who is out of contract in the summer.

The Reds had initially hoped to sign him on a pre-contract in January and complete the free transfer in the summer, but now have made clear they are prepared to pay a small fee to bring forward any deal.

But Schalke have indicated they want to hold one last round of contract talks with the defender before they enter into any negotiations, and will attempt to persuade him to sign a new deal before January, when he can sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs.

Manchester United players deliver Christmas presents to children's hospitals as stars bring festive cheer

Kampusbet  ~   " Manchester United players deliver Christmas presents to children's hospitals as stars bring festive cheer "

http://indowins.com

Agen MaxbeT  ~    Manchester United's stars took time out of their schedule to bring the festive cheer to young fans stuck in hospital this Christmas.

Members of the first-team squad made their way to hospitals around the local community to hand out presents and bring a smile to the faces of the patients.

The likes of Wayne Rooney , Memphis Depay and Anthony Martial travelled to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, The Christie and Francis House Children’s Hospice.

Children were handed Manchester United branded bags with gifts inside to help lift their spirits just days before Christmas.

The event was organised as one of United's community incentives, which include annual visits to hospitals around this time of year.

Rooney travelled with Marouane Fellaini to Francis House in Didsbury, while Michael Carrick Chris Smalling, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Sam Johnstone all attended The Christie’s Palatine Treatment Centre.

The rest of the team went off to the Royal Manchester location.

Winger Memphis Depay said: “I think it’s great to spend time with children that maybe are not coming home for Christmas, to give them a present and nice feeling; it’s such a great honour.

Bandar Judi Online MaxbeT  ~   “We come over and give them a present; it’s a small thing to do but for them it’s really important, it can make the family feel better, it’s really nice to see.

“I wish everyone a speedy recovery and I hope they all get home for Christmas.”

Young sensation Jesse Lingard added: “It’s a great feeling to meet these children and it’s good to give something back. I’ve seen a lot of kids in here and hopefully most of them make it home for Christmas, but it’s good for us to come round and give them Christmas present.

It’s very important for us to come here today; we’re role models to a lot of these kids and what we do on and off the field, the kids are going to want to copy, so we’ve got to be good role models and set a good example for everyone.”

And defender Chris Smalling continued: “It’s great to come to The Christie today and put some smiles on the young people’s faces.

Just to have a chat and see how they are getting on because some of the stories are pretty tough and it’s very touching to know how much it means to them to meet us, especially at this time of year.”

United are back in action on Boxing Day against Stoke after three straight defeats, including Saturday's shock home loss to Norwich.

Liverpool keeper Adam Bogdan thinks he was fouled for Watford's first goal in defeat at Vicarage Road

Kampusbet  ~   " Liverpool keeper Adam Bogdan thinks he was fouled for Watford's first goal in defeat at Vicarage Road "

http://indowins.com

Agen SbobeT  ~   Adam Bogdan had a nightmare Premier League debut for Liverpool at Watford - but reckons he was fouled while conceding the first goal of the afternoon.

The Hungarian keeper joined from Bolton in the summer but had to wait until the Reds' trip to Vicarage Road in late December, but when his chance did come it was not a game to remember.

He only played because of injury to first choice Simon Mignolet , who ironically had dropped a clanger against West Brom the week before.

Nathan Ake opened the scoring when he prodded home from a yard out after Bogdan had spilled a cross .

Replays suggested the Liverpool keeper had the ball kicked out of his hands by Watford's Miguel Britos.

"It was a wrong time to concede," Bogdan admitted after the game.

Bandar Judi Online SbobeT  ~   "I dropped the first ball which is a mistake, I hold my hands up, but I felt I recovered the ball and he kicked it out of my hands. But if I catch the first one it's not a goal.

I had both hands on the ball but we are talking about a split-second. It's not easy for the referee to see. If I catch the first ball there is no second one."

In form Odion Ighal went on to score twice as Watford wrapped up a famous 3-0 victory but Bogdan promised to work on cutting future gaffes out of his game.

"Something went wrong, I have to think about it again. It was a mistake and I will learn from it.

"I felt good, it wasn't nerves. I trained hard for this chance and it started as a nightmare. I don't blame the referee or anyone else, I go back to train and work hard."

Southampton transfer target Demarai Gray watched in person by manager Ronald's assistant and brother Erwin

Kampusbet  ~   " Southampton transfer target Demarai Gray watched in person by manager Ronald's assistant and brother Erwin "

http://indowins.com

Agen TangKasneT  ~   Southampton boss Ronald Koeman sent his brother Erwin to make a personal check on Birmingham hotshot Demarai Gray in the 1-1 draw at Preston in midweek, writes Steve Bates in the Sunday People.

The Saints' manager is weighing up a January move for the 19-year-old Blues wing star and dispatched Erwin, assistant head coach at St Mary’s, to provide an assessment.

England Under-20 international Gray did not get on the score-sheet but Koeman is clearly serious about signing the youngster.

Bournemouth have already had a £5million bid rejected.

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  ~   Saints also lead the chase for Cheltenham prodigy Luke Thomas – but have plenty of competition for his signature, including from Portuguese giants Benfica.

Scouts from a host of leading Premier League clubs – including Liverpool, Manchester United and Spurs – were in attendance during the Robins’ midweek FA Youth Cup tie at Leicester.

Both the Saints and Derby have had bids for the 16-year-old knocked back.

Everton's rising stars have a 'powerful' bond, purrs Toffees manager Roberto Martinez

Kampusbet  ~   " Everton's rising stars have a 'powerful' bond, purrs Toffees manager Roberto Martinez "

http://indowins.com

Agen TangKasneT  ~   Roberto Martinez believes he has got a “powerful” bond between his young stars that can sweep Everton to glory.

But the Blues boss admits even though his ‘Fab Four’ are all close friends after breaking into the team together, that relationship offers no guarantees the club can keep them together.

Romelu Lukaku and Gerard Deulofeu have developed a devastating partnership that seems to be based on more than a working understanding. And their manager explained the pair, plus Ross Barkley and John Stones, have a relationship that underpins the team.

“They are really close, yes,” said Martinez. “They have a real strong belief in how good they are as individuals. Then you are on a journey and you want to become better as a group.

That is powerful. As a team, yes it helps. When you learn and share experiences in moments of disappointment and happiness, it gets you closer and you become better.

“You can see it in the performances.

“There are moments in adversity when you can learn more than when you are just rolling out results and winning all the time, and the bond is important in that.”

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  ~   Everton fans are praying their four rising stars – with Lukaku the oldest at just 22 – can form the foundations of a team that can challenge for the top four in years to come.

But Martinez is realistic enough to know even though the four are so close, it will not be enough to keep them together in the clinical world of modern football.

Instead, he wants them to prove they are good enough to challenge THIS season – starting with Leicester tomorrow.

“To keep them together or not, there are so many influences in a career,” he conceded. “All you are doing is working from now until the end of the season. That is the block that we are working on. That is how far we can go.

“That is the only thing that worries me or is my focus: the end of the season.

“After that we will reassess it and see what we are doing with the next project.

“There is no worry at our football club to turn down any offer that comes in January. That is a very, very strong position to be in.”

Pep Guardiola and Bayern Munich stars attend club's circus gala as speculation over boss' future rumbles on

Kampusbet  ~   " Pep Guardiola and Bayern Munich stars attend club's circus gala as speculation over boss' future rumbles on "

http://indowins.com

Agen Klik4D  ~   Pep Guardiola was in jovial mood as he attended Bayern Munich's circus gala on Wednesday with a host of his stars.

The Spaniard is reportedly set to leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season, with Manchester City his most likely destination.

Speculation surrounding his future continues to rumble on, with Chelsea becoming another club he could pitch up at, following their decision to part company with Jose Mourinho.

However, it is City who are the bookies' choice, despite Manuel Pellegrini overseeing a reasonable season so far.

Bandar Judi Online Klik4D  ~   Guardiola acknowledged supporters in jovial fashion, having led the Bavarians to consecutive league titles since moving to the Bundesliga club in 2013.

Former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso was one of the stars to take to the stage, showing off his air guitar skills by playing a broom stick.

Sebastian Rode and Joshua Kimmich also performed at the event, as Bayern's players enjoyed some well-deserved downtime following their hugely impressive campaign so far.

They have won 14 of their 16 Bundesliga fixtures, drawing one and losing one, establishing a five-point cushion over second-placed Borussia Dortmund in the process.

Tottenham transfer swoop for Michy Batshuayi faces being shelved until after the Euros

Kampusbet  ~   "  Tottenham transfer swoop for Michy Batshuayi faces being shelved until after the Euros "

http://indowins.com

Agen MaxbeT  ~   Tottenham will have to put any move for Marseille hitman Michy Batshuayi on hold until next summer at the earliest.

Batshuayi, 22, is on Spurs' radar as they hunt for more firepower to support star man Harry Kane.

They have had the Belgian striker watched a number of times this season and were weighing up a move in January to test Marseille's resolve.

But Batshuayi has no plans to leave Marseille next month with the European Championship just around the corner.

Batshuayi has broken into the Belgium set-up this year and is battling for a place in their squad for next summer's tournament in France amid competition from the likes of Everton's.

Bandar Judi Online MaxbeT  ~   Romelu Lukaku and Liverpool duo Christian Benteke and Divock Origi.

Batshuayi has been in brilliant form for Marseille, scoring 14 times in 23 games, and fears a mid-season move will disrupt his flow in a crucial year.

Former Standard Liege frontman Batshuayi won't come cheap when his time to leave does come.

Marseille's president Vincent Labrune has put a £35million price-tag on his head in a bid to try to scare off suitors.

Santi Cazorla hints Arsenal injury lay-off could be LONGER than three months

Kampusbet  ~   " Santi Cazorla hints Arsenal injury lay-off could be LONGER than three months "

http://indowins.com

Agen SbobeT  ~   Santi Cazorla has hinted his injury lay-off could in fact be longer than the three months initially feared.

The Spanish midfielder picked up a knee injury during the 1-1 draw with Norwich last month but was able to finish the game before being scans confirmed significant damage.

Boss Arsene Wenger confirmed the injury would keep his star midfielder out for at least three months and the man himself has now suggested he will definitely miss both legs of the Gunners' Champions League tie with Barcelona in the New Year.

"I am trying to take it well," he told Spanish radio station Cadena Cope. "These are the things that happen in football and I am trying to recover as soon as possible.

"I have to be ready mentally to work and hopefully I can shorten the recovery time as much as possible.

Bandar Judi Online SbobeT  ~   "I do not want to set a time but I want to play in three months. I do not want to extend it more if it is possible. Arsenal have told me it will be between three and four months, which may be closer to four."

Despite the setback Cazorla, who was in fine form before being struck down, is ready to put in the hard yards to come back better than ever.

"I have already said that I will work hard, I want to make everything I can to play in March but we will see how it goes. We are not going to force it if is going to be bad. But my priority is to play in March."

"The club have told me to be calm and that when I return we will be in the finals (laughs). I hope so. The important thing is that the team do well and I recover as soon as possible."

Tottenham's Europa League last-32 foes Fiorentina eyeing the FINAL having beaten Spurs last year

Kampusbet  ~   "  Tottenham's Europa League last-32 foes Fiorentina eyeing the FINAL having beaten Spurs last year "

Agen TangKasneT  ~   Paulo Sousa’s Fiorentina are targeting the Europa League final after drawing Tottenham for the second consecutive year.

La Viola, who are third in Serie A, knocked out Spurs at the same stage of this competition last year.

Fiorentina director general Andrea Rogg said: "Tottenham are a strong team - we know them very well after facing them last year. This is a match worthy of a Europa League final.

"Both the players and the coach [Paulo Sousa] know what it means to experience this kind of game, and we’ll be ready.

"We’re thinking about the two games against Tottenham, but our desire is to go as far as possible.
Getting to the final is the goal of all teams."

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  ~   Last season, Spurs' European campaign was ended ruthlessly by Fiorentina.

They were left to rue a 1-1 home draw in the first leg of their last-32 tie, with Jose Basanta’s away goal cancelling out Roberto Soldado’s sixth-minute stunner at White Hart Lane as Harry Kane was rested.

That meant they could not rest any stars for the second leg, which was played three days before the Capital One Cup final against Chelsea.

And after Roberto Soldado missed a sitter so bad he was soon rending on Twitter, goals from Mario Gomez and on-loan Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah sealed the tie in La Viola's favour.

To rub salt in the wound, Chelsea went on to beat Tottenham at Wembley.

Louis van Gaal adamant Manchester United can still be CHAMPIONS despite Bournemouth defeat

Kampusbet  ~   "  Louis van Gaal adamant Manchester United can still be CHAMPIONS despite Bournemouth defeat "

http://indowins.com

Agen TangKasneT  ~   Louis van Gaal responded to another devastating defeat by insisting that Manchester United can still be champions.

Former United striker Josh King scored the goal that lifted Bournemouth out of the drop zone and ensured that Van Gaal’s week from hell got even worse.

The Cherries won 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium – and deserved to claim the spoils – but, afterwards, Van Gaal said he was proud of how his injury-ravaged team performed just days after being eliminated from the Champions League.

The Dutchman is coming under intense pressure, despite the club’s owners continuing insistence that they are backing him to the hilt.

But his claim that United can still win the title smacked of a manager deep in shock at how the campaign is falling apart.

“We have the selection to do that,” said Van Gaal, when he was asked if he was confident that United could win the Premier League.

“Now, I am going to challenge my players. We need to win three games in a week just to still be up there after Christmas. We can do that, but we have to keep fighting. Of course, I am concerned because this is not usual for United.

“But we will work hard – just as I have always done in my 35 years as a manager.

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  ~   We are in a very difficult position because of all the injuries and we have to play with a lot of youngsters.

“It is disappointing to lose two games in such an important week, but we are still in a good position. Now, we have to win.”

United are without a win in five games, but Bournemouth are heading in the opposite direction after following up last week’s victory at Chelsea with another prized scalp.

Eddie Howe’s men took the lead when David de Gea flapped at Junior Stanislas’s in-swinging corner.
United levelled through Marouane Fellaini, but King pounced 10 minutes after half-time to score a goal that lifted the roof.

Norwegian international King, who arrived from Blackburn on a free transfer in the summer, said: “I had five years at Manchester United. I’ve moved on now, but to score against my old club still means a lot.”

Cherries boss Howe now hopes that an unbeaten run, which has realised eight precious points, will be a springboard for survival.

Howe said: “We are in a good moment, but we all hope that this is just the start.”

Manchester United make bizarre complaint about Wolfsburg's ground after Champions League exit

Kampusbet  ~   "  Manchester United make bizarre complaint about Wolfsburg's ground after Champions League exit "

Agen Klik4D  ~    Manchester United could not handle the heat of the Champions League – even before a ball was kicked in Wolfsburg.

United complained the temperature in their dressing room was too high, before slumping to a 3-2 defeat to exit the competition.

But the heat has now been turned up on Louis van Gaal, who has come under increasing pressure from fans following United’s timid exit.

Although the manager retains the backing of the United board, he is now expected to push all the way for the Premier League title.

Even before their group stage exit on Tuesday, the Reds announced winning the league is a bigger achievement than Champions League glory because of how competitive the English top-flight has become on the back of the latest £5.1billion broadcasting deal.

United believe the huge financial boost from the TV rights deal has seen a levelling out in the Premier League, closing the gap between the traditional big guns and so-called smaller clubs, such as table-topping Leicester.

Bandar Judi Online Klik4D  ~   The TV money has ensured clubs who used to have to sell their star players for financial reasons no longer have to do so, as United discovered when they tried and failed to sign Sadio Mane from Southampton in the summer.

There is also a belief at Old Trafford that the Premier League do not do enough to help clubs involved in the Champions League.

United believe the organisation could help by staging some games involving Champions League teams on Friday nights, giving them extra rest before European commitments the following midweek.

But, keen to maximise their global audience, the Premier League are currently unwilling to entertain that idea.

Van Gaal could be without 10 players for Saturday’s trip to Bournemouth.

Chris Smalling and Matteo Darmian were injured in Wolfsburg, while Bastian Schweinsteiger faces a three-game FA ban.

Craig Bellamy: 'Mesut Ozil should move left to accommodate Aaron Ramsey'

Kampusbet  ~   " 'Craig Bellamy: 'Mesut Ozil should move left to accommodate Aaron Ramsey' "

Agen MaxbeT  ~   Craig Bellamy has claimed that Arsenal would be better off if Arsene Wenger moved Mesut Ozil to a position on the wide left of midfield to accommodate Aaron Ramsey in the centre.

Ozil has been a key performer in a central role for the Gunners so far this season, racking up five goals and 12 assists in 19 games in all competitions so far, while Ramsey has been playing in a more deep-lying role since returning from a month's injury absence.

However, after the Welshman scored in Arsenal's 3-1 victory over Sunderland on Saturday, his former international teammate insists that he should take Ozil's place in a more attacking central position.

"For me, Aaron has to play in a three [in midfield]," Bellamy told Sky Sports News. "He has to be in the centre for me. If you are going to ask him to sit [deeper] then you are restricting a lot of his game.

Bandar Judi Online MaxbeT  ~   "Ozil has played left at certain times, and Aaron has played right a lot as well. It is not just me being biased, I have known Aaron since he was five years of age, but I would play him central instead of Ozil.

"It might be a difficult statement at this moment because of Ozil's [form], but I feel personally watching his game and watching him develop over the last couple of years that he is one of the top central players in world football when he is fit and he proved that last summer when Barcelona wanted him."

Arsenal face a winner-takes-all clash with Olympiacos in their final Champions League Group F match on Wednesday night.

Carlo Ancelotti wants Premier League return and admits interest in Manchester United top job

Kampusbet  ~   "  Carlo Ancelotti wants Premier League return and admits interest in Manchester United top job "

http://indowins.com

Agen SbobeT  ~   Carlo Ancelotti has admitted he would be interested in managing Manchester United if the opportunity arose.

The Italian manager is without a job after he was sacked by Real Madrid in the summer.

United were interested in Ancelotti taking charge at Old Trafford in the summer of 2014 but Madrid's Champions League success kept him at the Bernabeu.

However, a year later the 56-year-old was out of a job after a trophyless season in the Spanish capital.

He underwent back surgery following his departure from Madrid and intended to take a season-long sabbatical - a plan he hasn't changed.

Bandar Judi Online SbobeT  ~   Ancelotti intends to return to the game in the summer of 2016 but admitted he could wait until 2017 if the right opportunity doesn't present itself.

Current United boss Louis van Gaal has drawn criticism from supporters this season for the team's style of play and he wants to retire when his current contract ends - also in 2017.

I will continue to wait,” Ancelotti told The Independent. “If I don’t find a club with a good project, I can wait. I will not take a job in mid-season, but I would like to work again next summer.

“Of course, for every manager, they would all think of managing Manchester United.

"The Premier League is the best in the sense of atmosphere, ambience. It is also competitive, so I would like to come back, especially for the atmosphere."

Arsene Wenger claims Norwich's Ryan Bennett 'could have killed' Alexis Sanchez last weekend

Kampusbet  ~   "  Arsene Wenger claims Norwich's Ryan Bennett 'could have killed' Alexis Sanchez last weekend "

http://indowins.com

Agen TangKasneT  ~   Arsene Wenger hit out at Norwich and defender Ryan Bennett for pushing Alexis Sanchez into a camera pit, fuming: He could have killed him.

Sanchez is out for a month with a hamstring injury, while Wenger also confirmed Santi Cazorla would be missing until at least March with ligament damage.

But the Arsenal boss is particularly unhappy with the positioning of the ground level camera into which Sanchez collided last Sunday.

He said: “First of all it is dangerous to have a camera there. He could have killed him. Secondly, he didn’t need to push him like he did. I think the camera position was absolutely dangerous.”

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  ~   Wenger has refused to rule out the clash as being part of the reason for the injury.

He added: “I don’t know. There are so many specialists to predict absolutely everything. A hamstring injury. He had hamstring injuries in Barcelona as well.

Another of Arsenal’s key players, Mesut Ozil, had also hurtling into a camera earlier in the 1-1 draw.

Wenger went on: “He chose a space where he was free to dive in. I watched it again.

He just saw that he was about to fall down and chose to go into a space where there was no camera.”

Andros Townsend could leave Tottenham in January, admits Mauricio Pochettino

Kampusbet  ~   "  Andros Townsend could leave Tottenham in January, admits Mauricio Pochettino "

Agen  TangKasneT  ~    Mauricio Pochettino has admitted for the first time that Andros Townsend could have a future away from Spurs.

The England winger last featured in the north Londoners’ Europa League defeat at Anderlecht on October 22.

He was banished to the Under-21’s after a bust-up with fitness coach Nathan Gardiner following the club’s Premier League win over Aston Villa on November 2.

Townsend has not featured in any of Tottenham’s subsequent five games and is a target for several clubs in January, including Swansea, Newcastle and Sunderland.

Pochettino said: “He’s still young and he has a big future in football, here or at another club. Always you need to learn in football.”

Townsend featured for the club’s Under-21 side on Monday but Pochettino insisted the move was the player’s decision and not his.

He added: “There is not an issue with Andros. He was on the bench in some games and was out of the squad against Chelsea and he asked to play for the Under-21s against Middlesbrough. He asked to play.

Bandar Judi online TangKasneT  ~   “It’s a very good thing because the player was out and didn’t play for many weeks and it was a good opportunity. For me it’s a very good attitude to want to play for the Under-21s and keep working hard and keep his physical levels and condition up.”

Pochettino faces West Brom this weekend bidding to maintain the club's impressive form this season.
His men are unbeaten since losing to Manchester United on the opening weekend and now sit fifth, four points off leaders Manchester City.

He added: “If the people believe we are contenders I am happy because we have shown enough quality for that.

“Our ambition is always to stay as high as possible in the table, but we’re realistic. We’re very young, we have the youngest team in the Premier League but we are very ambitious and our motivation is to win every game.

“We need to keep working hard and try to win every game. It’s not always possible to win but it’s better than to lose.

“But we are very happy in the way we compete. We show we are more solid than last season and it’s step by step. This is the most important thing. In the end we’ll see what happens and which position we are.”
