The 26-year-old has been sensational for the league-leading Foxes in his central midfield role and his form was recognised with a first call-up by England for the recent internationals against Germany and Holland.

Drinkwater made his debut against the Dutch on Tuesday, and he was named man-of-the-match in England’s 2-1 defeat at Wembley.
