Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain reveals ambition to be Alexis Sanchez Mark II

Kampusbet  -   Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain reveals ambition to be Alexis Sanchez Mark II

Agen Klik4D  -   Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain admits he needs to show more self-confidence - and try to learn from Alexis Sanchez.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger gave Oxlade-Chamberlain a wake-up call last week, stating that the midfielder needed to show more belief and stop being so hard on himself.

Wenger is set to go one further by starting the 22-year-old in the “must-win” Champions League showdown with Olympiakos at the Emirates.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has taken those words on board and says he can also improve by trying to model himself on Sanchez after the Chilean’s stunning return to form with a hat-trick in the Gunners' weekend win at Leicester.

“I did see the comments and I chuckled because my dad [ex-England star Mark] says that to me a lot,” he said. “It’s a valid point and Alexis is someone who has massive self-belief and he shows that every week.

“Quite often, that results in positive performance with good end-products and good results. It’s definitely something for me to take on board and look to improve on.

I’m critical of myself and I try to demand high standards of myself. Sometimes maybe that can work in a negative fashion. That’s something that I need to work on.

“Self-belief is obviously a massive part of the game. I might need to start showing that I believe in myself a bit more around [the boss].”

Wenger claimed it was a “massive” season for Oxlade-Chamberlain, because he still has not nailed down a starting place for Arsenal even though he is an England regular.

Bandar Judi Online Klik4D -   The former Southampton starlet has got the world at his feet but needs to take a step to the next level.

Oxlade-Chamberlain says that it is not just Sanchez’s self-belief that he can learn from, but his performances and attitude towards training.

“For someone like me to look at how many goals he scored last year makes it hard for me not to look at him and learn from him,” he said.

“It’s his everyday mannerisms around the training ground, how he trains, his performances, how he scores goals, how he plays and how he defends from up front.

“These are all things that we can all learn, that everyone who watches football could learn from. I’ve definitely put myself in the bracket of somebody who learns from him every day.

“He’s very passionate, very upbeat and is a massive character in the team. For someone that doesn’t have amazing English, he manages to communicate so well to all of us and keep the dressing room upbeat.”

Wenger says the sky is the limit for Oxlade-Chamberlain as a player and, in the longer term, believes he will be more of a central midfielder rather than playing on the wing, as he will against Olympiakos.

“Look, he’s 22. He is in the English national team, he plays many games for Arsenal,” said the Frenchman.

“You become a complete player at 23. From 23 to 30 is certainly where you are at your best.

“He has the future in front and a bright one. He will certainly move to the centre but he can play both flanks.

"He can play in the future certainly, after 25 or 26, he will be more centre. It is a good education for young players to start on the wing.”

Bacary Sagna admits Manchester City have become complacent after slumping to back-to-back defeats

Kampusbet  -    Bacary Sagna admits Manchester City have become complacent after slumping to back-to-back defeats

Agen MaxbeT  -    Bacary Sagna admitted Manchester City blew top spot after becoming too complacent.

Sagna says City’s slackers have paid a heavy price with back-to-back defeats after their stunning start to the Premier League season.

The City full-back, speaking after Saturday's 4-1 drubbing at Spurs, said: “Maybe we have shown too much confidence. I think we had to keep working hard if we wanted to stay on top.

“We know we have the quality players to make a difference, we know we are a good team, we know we can be champions, we know we can be competitive.

Bandar Judi Online MaxbeT  -   “But you also have to work well before you know that, to keep working hard.

It’s important to keep sending a message to the other teams that we want to stay focused until the end and we want to finish as champions.”

City started the season with five wins, yet defeats to West Ham and now Tottenham have meant Manchester United knocked them off the top.

They travel to Borussia Mönchengladbach on Wednesday for a vital Champions League game, but should have keeper Joe Hart back although injured Yaya Toure and David Silva could both miss out.

Sir Alex Ferguson claims David De Gea can win Manchester United the Premier League

Kampusbet  -    Sir Alex Ferguson claims David De Gea can win Manchester United the Premier League

Agen Klik4D  -    Sir Alex Ferguson claims that David de Gea can help Manchester United win the Premier League.

The iconic boss believes that he can now focus on leading United to success following his decision to commit to a new deal after the collapse of his move to Real Madrid.

Ferguson believes that United are right back in the mix in the early stages after rivals Manchester City slumped to defeat last week, allowing United to close the gap.

"I think De Gea can win us the league," said Ferguson, speaking in Manchester to promote his new book Leading.

"I think we're in a great position. Last week I was asked about this and I said Manchester City were the only team that hadn't lost a game.

Now they've lost a game, at home to West Ham, Arsenal have lost a game, Chelsea have lost a couple too.

Bandar Judi Online Klik4D  -   "So I think the four at the top are going to be battling it out.

"If United are there on New Year's Day, they have a chance.

We are in a good position because, City hadn't lost a game until last week and then United won at Southampton and the whole thing changes round.

"Chelsea have lost a couple of games, Arsenal have lost a game, if you are there around New Year's Day then they will have a good chance."

Ferguson also praised the impact that Antony Martial has made in such a short space of time.

The 74-year-old claimed that the striker "can be anything" after scoring four goals in his first four outings in a Manchester United shirt.

Moaning Liverpool fans can HELP Reds win trophies again says coach Gary McAllister

Kampusbet  -     Moaning Liverpool fans can HELP Reds win trophies again says coach Gary McAllister

Agen TangKasneT  -   Gary McAllister believes the frustration of success-starved Liverpool fans is a positive influence, rather than a destructive one.

He knows all about the pressures of Anfield after joining the club as a player when they had not won a trophy in six years.

McAllister then used his experience and talent to inspire them to an historic Treble.

The Scot returned in the summer as a coach following another barren spell. And even though the supporters' lofty expectations appear to be inhibiting an inexperienced Liverpool team, he believes they are necessary.

“That’s the thing that still impresses me here — that there are still those grumblings from the fans," he said.

"If you lose that and it does become accepted it's not going to be right. And that won’t happen here,” he said.

“It will be driven through by the frustration of the fans. We’ve got to be competing right at the highest level. It’s how I see Liverpool — I just associate it with winning things.

“That’s got to be a good thing and that’s got to be the driving force for players and they’ve got to put that right.”

Liverpool are without a win in five matches and that inevitably raises questions about the future of manager Brendan Rodgers, who was the subject of a post-season review in the summer.

Bandar Judi Online TangKasneT  -    Rodgers survived, but the inevitable scrutiny seems to weigh heavily on the shoulders of his young side.

But first-team coach McAllister believes he can help them deal with the pressure.

They’ve got to rise above that and that’s where we come in, and hopefully where I do,” he added.

“I have played in front of frustrated crowds when things aren’t going well and I think that’s when you push your shoulders back and show that bravery.

“And bravery is not whacking into people and elbowing people. It’s getting on the ball in tight areas and taking responsibility.

"We have no fear in doing that and I don’t have any fears about us putting that right.”

Liverpool have the perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways on Wednesday with the visit of League Two side Carlisle in the Capital One Cup.

Rodgers looks set to field an experienced team.

Daniel Sturridge could well start as he looks for more game time following his return from a year wrecked by injuries, Joe Allen is also in line to make a comeback from a lay-off. Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino may also feature.

Young prospect Divock Origi might also start, while the experienced likes of Dejan Lovren and Kolo Toure will also be drafted in, along with some of the more promising young stars such as Jordon Ibe, Joe Gomez and Jordan Rossiter.

David Moyes' future at Real Sociedad in doubt after Espanyol defeat piles pressure on under-fire boss

Kampusbet  -    David Moyes' future at Real Sociedad in doubt after Espanyol defeat piles pressure on under-fire boss

Agen Sbo Casin0 -   David Moyes is facing the axe after Real Sociedad's dismal start to the season continued against Espanyol.

Sociedad slumped to a 3-2 home defeat as their search for a first win of the campaign goes on.

Moyes is understood to be in danger after a second defeat of the season leaves them struggling near the foot of the table.

Sociedad face a tough trip to Granada on Tuesday, but defeat against Athletic Bilbao next weekend likely to seal his fate.

Bandar Judi Online Sbo Casin0 -  Brazilian striker Jonathas' late goal looked like being enough to earn Sociedad a share of the spoils, only for Hernan Perez to score a winner at the death.

The hosts had got off to a good start when Imanol Agirretze broke the deadlock on 19 minutes.

However, Gerard Moreno hauled the visitors level on the stroke of half-time before Enzo Roco put them in front after the break.

Manchester United's Luke Shaw to have 'psychologist made available to him' following leg break horror

Kampusbet  -    Manchester United's Luke Shaw to have 'psychologist made available to him' following leg break horror

Agen SbobeT -    Manchester United will reportedly offer Luke Shaw the use of a psychologist following his double leg break nightmare.

The 20-year-old fullback remains in Eindhoven after breaking his right leg in two places during United's 2-1 defeat to PSV on Tuesday evening.

Two orthopaedic surgeons and a trauma specialist conducted an operation on Shaw’s leg on the night of the match.

It is understood that the £28million England defender will have a second operation at the Dutch hospital on Friday, as part of his recovery, and are hopeful of bringing him back to the UK this weekend - should the operation be a success.

However the club are aware of the long road that Shaw is now facing with regards his rehabilitation.

The former Southampton starlet looks set to spend the remainder of the 2015-16 campaign on the sidelines, while his Euro 2016 dream is also in tatters - despite Louis van Gaal's hopes - just as he was making himself indispensable for both club and country.

Bandar Judi Online SbobeT -  And while his physical rehab is set to be arduous, United are just as worried about the mental scars following such a serious injury.

"Part of the recovery process will involve the player dealing with his mental demons and the bad memories of what happened to him that night," a club source told the Daily Star.

"A psychologist will be made available to him if needed, to talk him through it all and help his chances of being mentally ready to return to the game."

Former Coventry City defender David Busst - who saw his career ended after a collision during a game against United in April 1996 - has already urged Shaw to stay positive.

"Footballers are a resilient breed and they all have a tough mental attitude, especially those who get to the top.

"He's young so he's got that on his side. It's serious but people come back quickly these days."

Chelsea poised to drop John Terry and THREE more regulars for their Champions League opener

Kampusbet  -    Chelsea poised to drop John Terry and THREE more regulars for their Champions League opener

Agen Klik4D -   Jose Mourinho is set to make sweeping changes to his Chelsea team in a bid to spark their season into life.

The Blues' boss is considering leaving captain John Terry, Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa out of their Champions League group stage opener against Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Gary Cahill is poised to partner Kurt Zouma in defence, while Cesar Azpilicueta is set to move to right-back, with summer signing Baba Rahman at left-back, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is expected to line up alongside Cesc Fabregas in midfield with Loic Remy up front instead of Costa.

If Mourinho sticks with that side, Rahman will be making his debut for the Londoners following his £21m move from Germany's Augsburg, Loftus-Cheek his initial start of the season and Remy would be in the team for the first time since the Community Shield loss to Arsenal on August 2.

Terry, Ivanovic, Matic and Costa are among the Chelsea players who have failed to recapture last season’s form during the Blues’ poor start to this campaign.

Bandar Judi Online Klik4D -  But Mourinho, who will also have Saturday’s lunchtime showdown with Arsenal in mind, stressed at his pre-match press conference: “I know what you will say.

"If I leave out Azpilicueta, it’s because I have a problem with him. Same with Terry. Same with Fabregas. I know the consequences.

"But I cannot be worried about what you say or write. I have to be just worried about my team and players.

“Yes, I will make a couple of changes because I have to try a different dynamic, I have to try a couple of different faces, and to give chances to people who have not been playing but have been working hard.”

Winger Pedro is a doubt for the Maccabi clash due to a muscular injury.

Striker Radamel Falcao has picked up a minor tendon injury which is expected to rule him out, but for Wednesday’s game only.

Steven Gerrard lifts the lid on the "needling rivalry" between Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge

Kampusbet -   Steven Gerrard lifts the lid on the "needling rivalry" between Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge

Agen Sbo Casino -   Steven Gerrard has lifted the lid on the rivalry between former Liverpool striker partners Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.

The duo scored a combined 55 goals for Liverpool in 2013/14 before the Uruguayan was sold to Barcelona for £75million.

And while Gerrard and the Liverpool fans were devastated to see Suarez leave, it seems Sturridge may not have been.

The former Liverpool captain revealed that, despite the public perception, there was a simmering rivalry between the two forwards.

Gerrard insisted that Suarez could be a generous teammate on the pitch, but that generosity didn't always extend to his strike partner.

Bandar Judi Online Sbo Casino -  In an extract from his new book, My Story, serialised in the Daily Mail, Gerrard wrote: "On March 13, 2012 I scored a hat-trick at Anfield against Everton.

It was the first hat-trick in 30 years of Merseyside derbies, since Ian Rush scored three at Goodison Park in 1982.

"It was made even better by the selfless magic Suarez sprinkled over me that night. Luis is no saint — and I’m not sure he would have done the same for Daniel Sturridge.

"There was always a little bit of needling rivalry between Sturridge and Suarez."

The former England captain has also lashed out at former manager Rafa Benitez, whom he labelled "stupid" for selling Xabi Alonso.

Andy Carroll set for West Ham return against former club Newcastle after eight month lay-off

Kampusbet -   Andy Carroll set for West Ham return against former club Newcastle after eight month lay-off

Agen SboBet -   Andy Carroll is set to return to action against his former club Newcastle on Monday night.

The West Ham striker has been out since February with a knee injury – and then suffered another setback last month rolling his ankle putting on a pair of shoes.

But Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has revealed a new rehabilitation regime for his £15m hitman means he is finally ready to return to action.

“Is he in contention? It looks like he is good,” said the Croat. “We have changed his recovery and rehabilitation a little bit.

Bandar Judi Online SboBet -  “A few times before straight after his injuries when he was ok he would train for a few days and then play straight away.

“However, with the nature of his size and the way he plays – he is not one to avoid tackles or escape challenges, he fights – he would get injured again. It’s psychological as much as anything.

“This time he has completed six weeks of let’s call it ‘pre-season’ and he looks very good in training.
“We are going to see if he selected. But probably.”

Wayne Rooney hailed by England boss Roy Hodgson after record-breaking Switzerland strike

Kampusbet -   Wayne Rooney hailed by England boss Roy Hodgson after record-breaking Switzerland strike

Agen MaxbeT -    Roy Hodgson has hailed Wayne Rooney's 'amazing achievement' after the England skipper became the Three Lions' all-time record goalscorer.

Rooney's 50th international strike made him the first England player to ever reach the half-century, surpassing the 49 goals Sir Bobby Charlton scored for his country.

It looked as if the wait would have to go on for the Manchester United striker, until Raheem Sterling won a late penalty in England's Euro 2016 qualifier with Switzerland.

Rooney stepped up and lashed the ball into the roof of the net, to seal a 2-0 victory on the night, and write his name into the history books.

Speaking to ITV after the game, Hodgson said: “It’s an amazing achievement. I’m delighted for him - we’ve all just congratulated him in the dressing room.

“My mind also goes to Bobby Charlton - it would be interesting to hear his thoughts. He’s one of our greatest ever players and I hope he’s pleased his record has been passed.

“All records are there to be passed, and he’ll be pleased it was Wayne who did it as a fellow Manchester United man.

Bandar Judi Online MaxbeT -  “The strange thing is you never think records will be broke, but it doesn’t concern me, and I don’t think it concerns him.

“It’s a proud moment for him and his family, and it was great to participate in it and enjoy the moment with him.”

Despite his pride in Rooney, Hodgson was less enthused about England's overall performance.

It wasn't until Harry Kane was introduced in the second half that they broke the deadlock, with the Tottenham forward turning home Luke Shaw's cross, before Rooney sealed the deal late in the piece.

Hodgson added: “We need to keep improving. Today we won but we’ve played better. We were a bit fortunate to win 2-0.

“The first half disappointed me, but the second half was better. We weren’t anything like we can be in the first half.

“Luckily at half time, we pulled together and came out after the break and played much better. It wasn’t an easy game and Switzerland will consider themselves hard done by.”

Karim Benzema responds to Arsenal speculation after summer rumours of Real Madrid exit

Kampusbet -   Karim Benzema responds to Arsenal speculation after summer rumours of Real Madrid exit

Agen Klik4D -   Karim Benzema claims there was no substance in reports linking him with a move to Arsenal in the summer.

The Real Madrid striker was repeatedly earmarked by fans as the man to turn the Gunners into title contenders this season.

But he never had any intention of leaving the Bernabeu for a new challenge in the Premier League.
"There was nothing in the talk of a transfer away from Madrid," he told Telefoot.

"I'm happy at my current club, it's the best in the world. I'll continue to work here and be happy where I am."

Petr Cech ended up being the only summer arrival at the Emirates, with Arsenal the solitary club in Europe's top five leagues not to sign an outfield player.

Arsenal's manager, Arsene Wenger, was slammed by Paul Merson last week for failing to even attempt to sign Benzema.

“It cheats the fans," said former Gunner Merson.

Agen Judi Online Klik4D -  “The fans think ‘what are we coming for? We turn up every week, we pay the highest prices and what for? Top four? We might get a day out at Wembley again in the FA Cup.’ Wow-wee.

“Just put in a bid for Benzema. £75m. If Real Madrid turn around and say ‘we’re not selling him’,
you can’t argue with that. You’ve put in a bid and if they turn it down or the lad doesn’t want to come, that’s the way it goes. But show something.”

There’s a saying in life: Keep on doing the things you do and you’ll get the same results.

How different is this season going to be for Arsenal? It’s the same team that finished 12 points behind Chelsea last year. Why, this year, will this team finish above Chelsea?

“I can tell you now, there will be a phase this season when they’ll be unbelievable, win seven on the trot and play the best football you’ve ever seen. But at the end of the season, with this team and no signings, I’d be absolutely shocked if they won the Premier League.”

Man United transfer target Thomas Muller the subject of 'huge' summer offer says Bayern Munich president

Kampusbet -   Man United transfer target Thomas Muller the subject of 'huge' summer offer says Bayern Munich president

Agen MaxBet -  Bayern Munich rejected a big-money summer move for Manchester United target Thomas Muller, according to president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

However, the former German international refuses to be drawn on who made the bid for the 25-year-old forward.

Muller, a World Cup winner in 2014, has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell with boyhood club Bayern since breaking into the first-team in 2008 and remains both a key player and fans favourite in Bavaria.

Man United chief Louis van Gaal is a known admirer of the player and the Red Devils were heavily-linked with a lucrative move during the transfer window, as were Spanish giants Real Madrid.

But Bayern refused to countenance the sale of one of their prized assets, despite, according to Rummenigge, there being a hefty sum on the table at one point.

"I'm talking about figures which were very high indeed," he said. "If I were a bank manager then I would have had to accept it.

"But as a football club we allowed ourselves to close the door on it, and this door is remaining closed. I can promise that to everybody.

Bandar Judi Online MaxbeT -  "But one thing is for certain, in view of the increased television money in England things are not going to get any easier for Bayern in future."

With a new TV deal set to kick in next summer, Rummenigge is aware that the Premier League's financial might will continue to grow in the coming years.

This summer saw clubs in England's top flight hand over £160million to their German counterparts, with notable deals including Man City's £54million purchase of Kevin de Bruyne, Roberto Firmino's £29million switch to Liverpool and Bastian Schweinsteiger's £14million move from Bayern to United.

Yet Rummenigge was full of priase for how English clubs are being run, saying their potential success won't merely concern money - but rather how they invest it.

"I've taken a look at Manchester City's youth academy and all I can say is it doesn't get any better than that," Rummenigge told the Suddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.

"I have also visited Tottenham's, Arsenal's and Chelsea's and it's the same wherever you go.

"I can tell you that the English are going all out, also in terms of youth development."

Manchester City starlet Kelechi Iheanacho axed from 21-man Champions League squad

Agen Sb0Bet -   Manchester City starlet Kelechi Iheanacho axed from 21-man Champions League squad

Agen Sb0Bet -    Kelechi Iheanacho has been axed from Manchester City's Champions League squad.

The 18-year-old has fallen foul of UEFA's squad limits, which restrict every club to 17 foreign stars in their 25-man squad, report the Manchester Evening News.

The Blues have had their number of squad slots for overseas players increased from 16 back to 17 following the lifting of UEFA's financial fair play penalties.

Last season that meant Stevan Jovetic got the chop in Europe.

That, and the departure of Edin Dzeko, freed up two slots in the 25-man squad.

But the arrival of Kevin de Bruyne and Nicolas Otamendi, plus the elevation of 18-year-old Iheanacho, puts them one over the limit.

The Premier League has similar rules, but they are more relaxed, allowing any number of players aged under 21 to be added to the 25-man squad.

Bandar Agen Judi Online -  UEFA's rule is more strict, stipulating that an under-21 player must have been at the club for two consecutive years before they become a “free” addition to the squad.

Iheanacho finally joined the club in February after working through a long-winded work permit process, meaning he will not qualify as an under-21 player until February 2017, when he will be 20.

That means that, if the squad make-up remains unchanged, City will face the same dilemma next summer as well, but it is likely that Martin Demichelis will leave and Jason Denayer return, solving the problem.

UEFA's complex formula for squad composition means City can submit 17 foreign stars, four 'home-grown' - Joe Hart, Raheem Sterling, Gael Clichy and Fabian Delph – and an unlimited number of under-21 players.
