Kampusbet ~ " Michael Appleton issues hands-off warning to Newcastle over Oxford's FA Cup hero Kemar Roofe "
Agen SbobeT ~ Michael Appleton warned Newcastle that Kemar Roofe is not for sale after the Oxford striker inspired the biggest giantkilling of the FA Cup third round.
The former West Brom striker scored twice for the League Two side to shock Premier League Swansea at a sold-out Kassam Stadium.
Newcastle are
leading the Premier League clubs chasing the signature of the
23-year-old who Appleton coached through the ranks at the Hawthorns.
But
with Oxford in the running for promotion from League Two, the United
manager insisted: “He is an Oxford United player and he is happy to be
an Oxford United player and he doesn't want to go anywhere as he is
enjoying his football here and improving day by day.
We are very confident we can keep him. At the end of the season it
may be a different scenario depending on whether we get promoted or not
but if you go in that dressing room no one wants to go anywhere anyway.
Bandar Judi Online SbobeT ~ I
have not needed to talk to him - I've known him since he was 12 so I
know what makes him tick. He is very focused.”
Roofe, who never
made a first-team appearance for the Baggies, signed a three-year deal
when he joined Oxford on a permanent deal from West Brom in May.
He has now scored 14 goals this season and insisted he has unfinished
business at the Kassam Stadium.
“I do feel I owe Oxford for giving me
the chance and I have got a job to finish here,” he said. “That is why I
am putting in my best performances and helping the teams win games. As
long as we win and get to the next round. It doesn’t bother me who we
get.”
Former Manchester United trainee Appleton added: “From a
selfish point of view I'd be delighted with Manchester United because of
my history and I'm still a big fan, believe it or not - even now!”
